Dear America,
Bad choice.
But, God still sits on His throne, and holds the heart of kings and presidents in his hands! He is not perplexed or confused by this election. It is part of His sovereign plan. And so I remain, disappointed but not discouraged - and ready for the political struggles that will probably come in next four years.

Also btw they have made the little "prove you're not a robot" screen extremely difficult to get past for comment posting... the letters are so fuzzy I get them wrong 70% of the time! Ug, thanks Blogger!

I totally know what you mean. I keep questioning my human identity - sometimes I wonder whether I'm a robot, and that these fuzzy things are meant to keep me from posting ;-)

I Saw Thee Not . . But I Believe

I saw Thee not when Thou didst come
To this poor world of sin and death,
Nor e'er beheld Thy cottage home
In that despised Nazareth;
But I believe Thy footsteps trod
Its streets and plains, Thou Son of God.

I saw Thee not upon the wave,
When Thou the stormy sea didst bind,
Nor marked the health Thy blessing gave

I was not with the faithful few

Watching our lives to save and bless,
Though to the finite, human eye,
No radiant view doth sense impress,
